上帝的愛疼
GOD'S AMAZING LOVE (2005)

In recent years Life Strings had the chance to sing at Hokkien evangelistic outreaches. We were warmly received by the Hokkien congregations which comprise mainly elderly people. Though elderly, we saw them singing and praising God wholeheartedly with uplifted hearts and hands. Moreover, we also saw young people serving who were English-educated. We wondered why they would be willing to serve in such a setting? We were touched when they shared with us that they saw the need to reach out to the Hokkien-speaking elderly. As such, they were willing to learn the Hokkien dialect so that they could use it to share God's love.

This impressed upon Life Strings that we also need to connect with the Hokkien-speaking people through our songs. With this burden on our hearts, we began to plan for our first Hokkien gospel album. It took us 2 years - gathering songs and recording them. We were very grateful to God who supplied the expertise we needed. We had an elder from the Tai-an Presbyterian Church in Taiwan, Mr Pan Mao Liang, who flew all the way to Singapore to preside over the recordings. He was formerly a bass singer in the renowned gospel singing team, the Heavenly Melody Singers, and is conductor to a myriad of choral groups in Taiwan. Elder Pan is a source of inspiration to us, writing songs for us and coaching us in the pronounciation of the Hokkien language. In addition, Ms Zhuang Hui Nian, a seasoned gospel singer also from Taiwan, sang and wrote songs for our album.

Thus, our first album entitled "God's Amazing Love" came into being in 2005. All praise and honour to God who made the album possible! We pray that God will use this album to touch the hearts of those who are yet to know Him.

製作這張閩南語專輯的感動， 應該從兩三年來【生命弦】的聖樂
服事來講起。

【生命弦】自開始至今攏是以華文教會做主要的服事對象，為著
按呢，華文的創作詩歌成為阮傳達信息的語言，將福音通過詩歌
見證來分享給兄弟姊妹。但是，將近兩年來上帝讓阮有機會接觸
到一些福建群體的教會，在他們的中間見證上帝的奇妙作為，
同時，也得到很多他 們的肯定與支持。

這群用福建方言聚會的主內肢體， 樂齡的兄弟姊妹佔大多數，
阮在他們的聚會的中間，看見他們高舉雙手，口唱心和，歡喜讚
美上帝的畫面，親像福音的靈火在他們的間中燃燒起來，這種情
景深深感動了阮。

更加讓阮感動的是，服事會眾的少年人大部份攏是受英文教育
的，閩南語對他們來講是非常生疏的，但是，他們猶 原願意為著
靈魂的得救付出代價，他們放棄很好的事奉環境，刻意來學習
閩南語，為著按呢，【生命弦】的同工大受感動，也看見這項事
工的需要。

感謝天父上帝將這項負擔放在【生命弦】同工的身上。 經過兩年
多的計劃、籌備與錄音，總算完成了這張閩南語的專輯，其中，
每一步攏有天父的保守與帶領，不只是得到很多主內兄弟姊妹
的代禱和支援，更加有福氣的是，臺灣出名的音樂家潘茂涼
長老(前天韻資深男低音),在繁忙的 事奉中特別從臺灣飛來
新加坡為阮擔任這個專輯的製作人，對阮的閩南語發音與唱法
有很大的幫助。同時，也有臺灣的福音歌手莊惠年姊妹的獻唱，
這些，確實讓這張專輯更加完美。 在此，也要來獻上阮深深的
感謝！

阮相信，這張閩南語的專輯是天父上帝自己所成就的，所以阮
願意將它獻給這位愛疼的主，求主大大使用，讓這張專輯成為
福音的工具，使得復興的靈火緊緊在福建群體中燃燒起來。
盼望你和阮同心一意參與在這場屬靈的復興，使萬民攏得到
「上帝的愛疼」。
